The first consultation involves a discussion of your condition and then a full medical history will be taken, which will cover aspects of diet and lifestyle.  Traditional Chinese Medicine requires a full picture of the person in order for a diagnosis to be made, so each treatment is completely tailored to the individual.  You will be required to arrive 10 minutes in advance of your initial consultation to complete a medical questionnaire. It is also advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing.

The needles used are incredibly fine, very unlike the needles used for injections, and are not painful. You may experience a dull ache, followed by a tingling sensation. All needles are sterile, single use and disposable.

Patients often report a feeling of relaxation or invigoration during and after a treatment. After a treatment we advise all our patients to relax for a few minutes.
